Mango and Greens Smoothie

Smoothies are back! I’m on my smoothie wave again. Here’s one that has greens but also a tropical touch. Spinach has lots of iron and calcium while mangoes are packed with vitamin C. I added coconut oil for an energy boost and some omega 3s. You can barely taste the spinach, very creamy and tropical.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach

  • 1/2 cup frozen mangoes

  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • 1 Tsp coconut oil

Add all ingredients to your blender and mix. The coconut oil can either be room temperature or solidified. It’ll be more creamy if the coconut oil is melted. If it’s solidified, you get little coconut oil chunks in your smoothie which gives it an nice crunchy texture.

I’ve been making these smoothies pretty regularly and I love the fact that it doesn’t contain much sugar but it still has a great flavor. Definitely one of my go to smoothies.
