Becoming a mama

It’s been awhile and a lot has happened. For starters, I’ve been taking my time for self care and healing after my injury. I can honestly say.. I feel great. And for the big whammy. I’m pregnant. Yes, 7 months to be exact and it’s been a crazy blessed journey to date. Ricky and I are excited to be parents. It’s surreal to feel a living being growing inside of me. I feel it moving, it’s kicks, it’s shifts. It’s insane.


I’m grateful to be feeling good through this pregnancy. I haven’t had morning sickness and I’m able to continue with my yoga practice and workouts. Cycling at home and yoga are my main sources of fitness/wellness.

I am now in my third trimester which is crazy to say. Pregnancy hasn’t felt that long. I am nervous and excited to meet this baby. Boy or girl? We haven’t looked at the envelope which shows us the sex yet. I am completely content with either or. In the last stretch of pregnancy has me contemplating eveything. My life isn’t going to be just my life anymore. My priorities are not just for me anymore. I am going to give this baby everything I have because that’s what they deserve. I can’t wait to meet them.
