Teriyaki Black Bean Burger
I’ve been craving burgers lately. Just imaging biting into one makes my mouth drool. I decided to come up with this recipe to satisfy my craving for burgers and teriyaki sauce!
Ingredients:
For Black Bean Patties
1 Can Black Beans
1/3 Cup Red Onion
1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
1/4 Cup Red Bell Pepper
3 Tbsp Sriacha or Chili Paste
1 Tsp Ground Cumin
1/3 Cup of Almond Flour
Himalayan Salt & Black Pepper to taste
For Salad and Greens
2 Cups Mixed Greens
Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 Tsp Honey or Maple Syrup
1/2 Tsp Lemon Juice
Himalayan Salt & Black Pepper to taste
Sliced Cucumber
Cherry Tomatoes
Turn the oven on to 350F. Combine all the black bean patty ingredients together in a blender. Pulse. Try not to make the mixture mushy, instead make it chunky. Add ingredients to a bowl along with the almond flour and mix. Grab a spoonful of patty mix in the palm of your hand and start creating patties. I like my patties a little thick.
Once done, grab a pan or skillet add some olive oil and turn on stove to medium heat. Add patties to the pan and cook them for about 5 minutes each side or until the outside becomes crisp. Place crispy patties onto a baking sheet and Drizzle teriyaki sauce on top of the patties. Put them in the oven for 10-15 minutes to finish cooking.
In the meantime, add all of you salad dressing ingredients to a bowl and mix.
Once patties are done, take out of the oven and start dressing your burgers! I used brioche buns (bomb) and I added some avocado, organic ketchup, and potato chips in my burger for that crunch! Amazing! If you want a little more teriyaki sauce, drizzle it all over your burger. (Drooling right now)
Stuff your face and enjoy!
Stay happy & healthy
