1. Don't automatically check your phone when you first wake up.
I've done it too. Waking up and the first thing you grab for is your phone. Ugh! It can be hard a first, but wake up and just be in the moment. They say that the first thing you do in the morning sets the tone for you day. Try a morning meditation. It doesn't have to be long, take 5 minutes just to set your intentions for the new day. Trust me, you'll feel so much better.
2. Carry an on the go essential oil.
We have busy lives. Running around getting things done through out the day. When you start feeling overwhelmed or stressed, rub a little essential oil on your wrists and inhale. Breathe it in and exhale it out. Essential oil are incredible for healing the body plus, they're also made from herbs and flowers. Carrying essential oils is a good way to keep nature with you wherever you are. Some of my favorites are lavender and sandalwood. Both of those are good for de-stressing throughout the day.
3. Take a hike, walk, or do yoga outdoors.
Instead of going to a gym, try working out outside. Other than doing yoga, I love hiking. Hiking is an awesome way to get your cardio going, build strength and have your daily dose of nature. If you're not into hiking, jogging, walking, and yoga are excellent alternatives.
4. Add more plants in your home.
Wifi signals are floating in the air in our homes from our phones, computers, televisions, etc. Electromagnetic signals affect how we sleep, sometimes we don't get a full night's rest that we should. House plants are a really nice way to get rid of some of that electromagnetic signals and purify in your bedroom. Some house plants you can get are peace lillies, Dracaenas, and Viper hemp. Himilayan salt lamps are amazing as well!
5. take your phone out of your bedroom before bedtime.
Having your cell phone out of your room before you go to sleep will help you unplug from all the updates from social media etc. Our phones are constantly buzzing from the plethora of information they receive. Although phones are essential for us to have, give yourself a break from them when you lay your head on your cozy pillow before bedtime. Not only will you'll be able to relax and get a better night's rest, but you'll also be getting rid of extra radiation and electromagnetic signals from your phone. Self care is always first.
