Observation: A Blooming Flower
Art has always been a big part of my life. Ever since I was a little girl, always day dreaming. A space cadet is what my 4th grade teacher Mrs. Bradford would call me.
When my mother was diagnosed with Leukemia 2 years ago, a lot of my inspiration to create was lost. It felt as it just evaporated out of my being, Yoga really helped me through depression and anxiety and I'll always be dedicated to yoga because it was my salvation.
With my mom being healthy now and my continuance of my dedication to yoga, I'm back on my feet. Meeting beautiful souls on the way has sparked my inspiration to create again. To express myself artistically through dance, music, and yoga. It feels even stronger now than before. I'm able to open myself up to the vulnerability of the ups and downs of life.
A flower in a deep slumber, a shell closed tightly
For no one to see my pearls I held my back from shining
But now my heart is open, that was torn from implosion
The stars burst and bloom out of my being, for now I'm showing you my universe
Let's get lost together.
