I love my slow flow practice, that is my bread and butter... but sometimes I need a change.
Sometimes when I'm feeling a little more energy than usual, I like to practice a power flow. Power flows are great for when I need to let off some extra steam. I submerge myself in my practice, and vent out anything negative.
It stills my mind, and I let the emotions run through me, through my asanas (poses).
Power yoga builds stamina and strength while it cuts the edge off any overwhelming emotions - amazing for stress relief. We must release it.
