Rose Lavender Lemonade
Happy summer everyone!
Let’s start summer off with a traditional iced lemonade, with a twist! I made Rose Lavender Lemonade to mix it up a bit. Lavender and rose are both very soothing and calming. It also benefits your skin and well being. Here’s the recipe.
1 Tbsp Dried Rose Petals
2 Tbsp Dried Lavender
2 Tbsp Agave
Add rose petals and dried lavender to a pot and add 3 cups of water and add high heat. Let it come to a boil and turn down to medium low. Cook for 10 minutes. Let cool and run the water through a strainer to remove petals. Place in a bowl, sit aside and let it cool.
Cut lemons in half and start squeezing into a pitcher. Fill up the pitcher with 32oz of water. (If your pitcher is smaller than 64oz, add less water you don’t need to add full 64oz) Add Maple syrup or agave. Depending on how sweet you want it add more or less. I think 2 tablespoons is a good medium. Stir.
Now pour rose and lavender infused water to the pitcher and mix. Taste test. If it’s not sweet enough for you, add more agave. Place lemonade in the fridge, let it chill for an hour. Once chilled pour and enjoy.
Lemonade is so relaxing on a hot summer day, lay out by the pool and enjoy!
Stay happy & healthy
